Zouma won’t be rushed

New Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has stated that he won’t rush Kurt Zouma back into the team.

He said that the player needs time to recover following his injury and to get back his fitness.

The French player sustained the injury in a match against Manchester United and had been recovering since then.

The prognosis was that Kurt Zouma would have been out for six months, but now it is believed that the player will not be back until the end of the year. Antonio Conte believes that after such a long time from playing, he will need some time to adapt and to get back into the game.

Zouma is currently with Chelsea in Austria as the London club prepares their season. Antonio Conte said that he knows that the player is desperate to play with the first team, but he stated that he needs to be patient. He stated that he will be monitoring his progress closely and that he will allow the player to make his return gradually. He said that the Frenchman is a valuable member of the team and that he will not risk losing him to another injury.

Antonio Conte is confident that his Chelsea side will be able to compete for the title next season. He believes that he has a strong squad and that the players have a chance to challenge for the title. He has told his players that they should be prepared to give 100% in every game if they want to stay in the team. He said that there is no shortcut for hard work and that if the team wants to improve they will need to train hard. It is believed that Chelsea will be looking to add in a few more players before the start of the season so as to bolster the squad.
