Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has insisted that the Blues were not in the right frame of mind during Saturday's shock 2-1 defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace. The Eagles had not registered a goal or point in the first seven matches of the campaign, but they turned out with a renewed vigour against the Premier League champions.
Speaking to French outlet SFR Sport, Courtois admitted that the players on the field were not good enough on the day, whilst also including himself, he said, "The 11 players on the pitch were not at the right level. We were not as intense as they [Palace] were at the beginning. Then we were very unlucky with the first goal – and we can barely even call it a goal."

Mohamed Salah will have a point to prove when he goes up against his former team for the first time in the Premier League since joining Liverpool from Roma in the summer. The Egyptian heads into the weekend as the league’s top goalscorer with nine goals.
Liverpool have an impressive attack with Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino expected to support Salah in a front three and then Philippe Coutinho as a head of the three central midfielders in Jurgen Klopp’s 4-3-3 formation.
The good news for us is that the Reds’ defence is shaky. Although they have a good record at Anfield, the likes of Watford have scored three goals, Leicester two goals and Tottenham four goals against them already this season. With Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard in excellent form at the moment it could make for a shootout at Anfield on Saturday evening.

Spain head coach Julen Lopetegui has reiterated that Chelsea striker Diego Costa should find a solution to his club future in order to return to the national team fold.
The Spain international has not played a competitive game since representing La Roja in a 2-1 victory over Macedonia in a World Cup qualifier in June.
Following the game, Costa had received a text message from Antonio Conte citing that he was longer part of his first-team plans and the 28-year-old has since refused to return to Blues training in order to push through an exit. Atletico Madrid looked favourites to sign him during the summer transfer window, but they were not prepared to pay a hefty chunk knowing that they could only play him until January when their transfer ban concludes.

Spanish authorities have sentenced former Chelsea star Ricardo Carvalho to jail for fraud, according to reports, with the former Real Madrid man, and one of the most popular players to watch on socagol, was sentenced to seven months in prison aside fines about 143,000 Euros.
As has been the case with other famous footballers - including the likes of stars like Leo Messi and co - sentences under two years for non-violent crimes which are given to defendants without previous convictions come without actual jail time, meaning fans can continue to watch their favourite players in action on fussballlivestream.tv regardless.

Chelsea favourite Ray Wilkins insists that the Blues have significantly weakened their squad following their transfer business in the summer.
The Premier League holders lost 1-0 to Manchester City in their recent outing, and this leaves them six points behind Pep Guardiola's side, heading into the international break.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Wilkins believes the Blues failed to adequately strengthen their options having let the likes of John Terry, Nemanja Matic and Diego Costa leave the club. Terry ended his 21-year association with the Blues to join Aston Villa while Matic and Costa followed suit with permanent moves to Manchester United and Atletico Madrid respectively.
